These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Workmanship mobile application and the workmanshiptnjt.com website (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Workmanship TNJT (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Workmanship app, or by accessing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Workmanship is a Christian faith-building application that provides:

  • Bible reading with multiple translations, highlights, and bookmarks
  • Bible trivia challenges with seasonal themes
  • Community prayer request features
  • Faith Feed — a social platform for sharing testimonies and encouragement
  • Topics and curated learning content for spiritual growth
  • Messaging and community engagement tools

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

When using community features (Faith Feed, prayer requests, messaging), you agree to:

  • Be respectful, kind, and encouraging to other users
  • Not post content that is hateful, abusive, threatening, obscene, or discriminatory
  • Not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Not impersonate others or submit false or misleading information
  • Not share content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not use the Service for spam, commercial solicitation, or advertising without permission
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post through the Service (Faith Feed posts, prayer requests, comments). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service. You may delete your content at any time, which will remove it from the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, graphics, and features of the Workmanship app and website are owned by or licensed to Workmanship TNJT. Bible text is provided under applicable licensing agreements with their respective publishers. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our Service without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Spiritual content within the app is intended for educational and devotional purposes only and should not replace professional pastoral counsel, therapy, or medical advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Workmanship TNJT, its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Workmanship TNJT and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.
